Jon + Stephanie | A Sweet Anniversary on the Farm

When Jon and Stephanie invited me back to capture their 5 year anniversary, I was honored to say yes! I don’t photograph weddings any longer, but I did photograph Jon and Stephanie’s beautiful and intimate wedding back in 2020, and when they reached out to celebrate five years of marriage with a photo session, I couldn’t resist!

They invited me out to their peaceful family farm, and let me tell you, it was a full of charm! Goats, chickens, peacocks…OH MY! It was one of those sessions that felt more like spending time with friends than work. Surrounded by sunshine and animals (who were very interested in being a part of the shoot), we captured the sweetest moments that perfectly reflected the love and life they’ve built together.

Jon and Stephanie were so incredibly kind, they even sent me home with fresh chicken eggs!!! It’s the little things like that, the warmth and generosity, that makes this job so much more than just taking photos.

I may not photograph weddings anymore, but I do LOVE capturing love. Especially when it looks like this.
